IAC Central Asia Vis Pre-Moot Competition
The International Arbitration Centre (IAC) organises and hosts the Preliminary
Rounds and Final of the IAC Central Asia Vis Pre-Moot annually. It aims to
promote the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution
of international business disputes through its application of a ‘real-life’
practical legal problem and to develop future lawyers in arbitration practice.
Mediation
Competition The AIFC Court and IAC organise and host an annual AIFC Court and IAC high school student mediation competition. The purpose of the competition is to train and mentor with supervised internships, training and mentoring programmes on a continuous basis to ensure that future generations of Kazakh people have international standard expertise on dispute resolution techniques and particularly mediation skills. AIFC Court and IAC Moot competition Well-known student competition of a common law court hearing in which student lawyers have a chance to analyse a common law problem, research the relevant law, prepare written submissions, and present oral argument to experienced AIFC Court judges.
