Upon successful completion of the internship programme, interns have an opportunity to
complete a 4-weeks internship with international law firms.
For these purposes, AIFC Court and IAC have established a partnership with one of the
leading international law firms LK LLP (“LK”), with branches in London, UK, and Adelaide,
Australia. A Memorandum of Understanding between AIFC Court and IAC and LK was signed on 6
July 2021. The MoU recognises mutual regard and cooperation to strengthen
the role and importance of obtaining international legal experience and developing the
necessary skills required in dispute resolution.
The LK-AIFC Court and IAC Internship Programme provides comprehensive international commercial law, advocacy and client advice training. Interns will be able to develop research, analysis, drafting and presentation skills. Along with that, those who will be engaged in the day-to-day activities of an international law firm will also have an opportunity to work with solicitors specialising in the dispute resolution field. AIFC Court and IAC continue to share knowledge to meet the needs of legal communities in Kazakhstan and the Central Asia region without any disruption.
